ABOUT HY-FARM
Hy-Farm began with a problem observed in real work: microgreens needed a production system that could be learned, repeated and brought closer to local restaurants. Since 2018, we have been building that system together with the people who use it.
THE HY-FARM STORY
In 2018, while working in Cyprus and listening to chefs’ demand for microgreens, Alex Vasiu looked for a system that could produce consistently in small spaces. He did not find one that fully met the need, so he began building it.
A need observed in kitchens became a production project, tested and refined in real conditions.
The company was founded in Timișoara, and development later continued in Iași, close to production, the team and partners.
More than 300 partners use the Hy-Farm system in 18 European countries, each in their own market.
WHAT DEFINES US
The system is the visible part. The experience, processes and the way we work with partners have been built over years.
We prefer a process that is clearly explained and tested in the field to a story about quick results.
The equipment organises production. Real questions require training, feedback and conversations with people who know the system.
Each partner builds their own market and relationships. The system provides reference points but does not replace local context.
Questions from production and restaurant relationships feed back into procedures, training and guidance.
